Tems became a household name with the release of Wizkid's 'Essence'
Nigeria's fast-rising superstar singer, Tems is seen on the cover of The Style magazine; the latest edition.
The singer posted the information on her Instagram page with a few pictures accompanying the post.
Titled "Introducing Tems - The Music Star The A-List Love" the article highlights the very high points in Tems musical career.
Tems became a household name with the release of Wizkid's 'Essence' a single from 'Made In Lagos" (MIL) album.
But that wasn't Tem's beginning. Her debut single 'Try Me' - released in August 2019 as a single became a hit track. The single has been streamed over 3 million times.
Add to that, Rihanna & Adele are huge Tems fans. The Grammy Award nominations for 2022 have her as a nominee.
However, Tems' breakthrough hit with Wizkid, 'Essence', was the song of the summer.
Barack Obama named it one of his tracks of the year, Justin Bieber did a remix, then Drake tapped her to contribute vocals on his album.
These and other reasons made The Style magazine, a UK fashion, and beauty magazine to profile Tems, not just for the music and fame but for Tems' individualistic style.
