Olamide takes top place with the song 'Rock', closely followed by Joeboy's 'Sip'
2021 was a massive year for Afrobeats artists across the globe. The crossover smash of Wizkid and Tems’ 'Essence' helped push African music to the forefront of the conversation around the globe, but massive songs from Joeboy, Davido, Fireboy DML, and others kept the momentum going strong.

However, Wizkid's 'Essence' is clearly missing among the top 21 Audiomack Afrobeats songs of 2021, though his name is listed on number six of the list.
The list of 21 top Afrobeats artists of 2021 as released by Audiomack Africa sees Olamide take top place with the song 'Rock', closely followed by Joeboy's 'Sip' and Burna Boy's Kilometre. Davido and Omah Lay rounded up the top 5 with Wizkid coming in 6th place despite an amazing year.
