'Essence' is the second song to get certified Platinum in Canada
Grammy Award winner, Wizkid has gotten two certifications in Canada by Music Canada.
The official account for the Gold and Platinum Canada, which is the authorized account for Music Canada's certification released the information.
It is a surprise that the popular singer has extended his winning streaks into the new year as well.
According to Music Canada, Wizkid has been certified Gold for his 2019 hit track 'Joro', which took the world by storm, and he has also been certified Platinum for his record-breaking song 'Essence', which features Tems and is off his 'Made In Lagos' album.
'Essence' is the second song to get certified Platinum in Canada after the hit 'Come Closer' off his 'Sounds From The Other Side' album that features the rapper Drake.
With this new report, the singer becomes more of a cross-over artist and a household name.
