After the release of Simi's first single in 2023, she joined eclectic presenter Tacha on her show "The Big Friday Show”.
In a sit down with Tacha the talented singer explained the inspiration behind her latest singer, calming she has never been heartbroken before but she wonders why she sings songs about heartbreak.
“I guess I most have been in a Melo mood, actually I went to see my friend and his wife and I was with my daughter and I was driving, I was in the state at the time, so I was driving back home and I don’t Know I was just Malo that day, I don’t think I’ve ever been heartbroken before, because that song came to me easily” Simi narrates to Tacha on “The Big Friday Show”.
Simi is very excited about what she has planned for the rest of the year, even though she believes she started late. She is looking forward to releasing an album and singles in the coming months.
“Are we going to see a collaboration with any female artists, I would love to see you and Tiwa Savage”. Tacha asked Simi.
