Grammy Award-winning Nigerian female artist Tems steals the shine at the just concluded prestigious Oscar awards, with her look.

Looking all glamorous in white attention grasping grown, the artist who made history earlier this year has become the first Nigerian to receive an Oscar nomination.

Tems was nominated under 'Best Original Song' for her songwriting contribution to Rihanna’s recorded song “Lift Me Up”, one of the songs from Marvel’s Black Panther movie: 'Wakanda Forever.'

The globally recognized singer was nominated in the same category as  'Hold My Hand' from 'Top Gun Maverick' (Lady Gaga and BloodPop), 'Applause' from 'Tell It like a Woman' (Diane Warren), and ‘This Is a Life' from 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' (Ryan Lott, David Byrne, and Mitski),

However, she lost the 95th edition of the Academy Awards to  'Naatu Naatu' from ‘RRR’, which is composed by MM Keeravani, with lyrics by Chandrabose and vocals by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.

Surprisingly, her loss didn’t get fans talking, rather, her all-white outfit got fans talking.
