Newly appointed Director-General of World Trade Organization
Development Economist, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, is being celebrated by Nigerians on her new appointment as Director-General of World Trade Organization. This comes after her 25 year career at World Bank as a development economist, as well as Finance Minister in Nigeria (2003 - 2006, 2011 - 2015).
Nigerians have taken out time to start a challenge in honor of her news appointment. The #BelikeNgozichallenge has seen Nigerian women and children dress and make impressions of Dr Ngozi.
She took to her Twitter page to thank a lady and others who had joined the challenge to celebrate her.
